TRIkid is a program specifically designed to prepare kids
7-14 years old to complete in a youth triathlon.


The TRIkid program will combine skill techniques, basic safety issues
and workouts in swimming, biking and running.

Some of the triathlon related issues that will be covered include:
proper swim techniques; what to wear during a triathlon; bicycle safety;
hydration and proper nutrition.  Additionally, training sessions will focus on
building confidence, sportsmanship and having FUN!!




BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Youth age 7-14, in good health with no health problems. 
All participants must be able to swim 25 meters/yards without assistance, ride a bicycle without assistance and run/walk a 1/2 mile without stopping.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

● Mountain or Road bike                ●   CPSC approved helmet
Swimsuit & goggles           ●   Running shoes
